Known locally for Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar & Eatery in Arlington and nationally from frequent appearances on NBC’s The Today Show, he’s the host and co-judge for Travel Channel’s popular competition series American Grilled.
This spring, Guas released his second cookbook Grill Nation: 200 Surefire Recipes, Tips, and Techniques to Grill Like a Pro (Oxmoor House), and opened his second Bayou Bakery in the historic carriage house on the grounds of the Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital on Capitol Hill.
